Hey racers!
It’s time to get behind the wheel! Upland released its racing app on mobiles yesterday, making racing more practical and easier to coordinate.
To keep things easy as we get going, we are inviting all our Academy Racers to undergo time trials according to some basic rules.
Rules:
- Select ‘NYC Racing’ track.
- Select ‘Private Server’ and race solo or among a group of racers with the same vehicle model, WITHOUT AI opponents.
- Post a screenshot of the race result under the corresponding post in the new channel #time-trials on our Discord.
Note:
Only Series 1 cars have been separated according to trim. Races involving Series 1 cars should be according to specific trims so we will not consider time trials involving a mix of Series 1Rs, Series 1Es and Series 1s. Time trials involving other models can have a mix of different trims, as long as all the vehicles are of the same model. For example, Series 4Rs, Series 4Es and Series 4s can undergo a time trial together.
You are encouraged to use the channel #mmvm-lounge on our Discord and the relevant tags to notify fellow racers having the same vehicle as you for joining and competing against you!
We’ll maintain a leaderboard for each category and racers who top a category will be the ones who will be selected to represent the Mahoney MV Motorsports racing team in races/ leagues for that specific category. (This selection process may change in the future, and most probably will when BE training becomes a reality). Racers are allowed to do as many races as they want to improve their positions on the leaderboard.
This is just the beginning as we put MMVM in motion. Stay tuned for more regarding tournaments among MMVM Academy racers, limited-time attempts at breaking a track record, challenges inviting other racing teams to compete against MMVM!
